Last Night's Lost

"... Dad?"

Last night's episode of Lost was absolutely ridiculous, wasn't it? In the best possible way?

Great, great, great... and I didn't even catch Sayid making a sneaky little cameo on the TV during the scene in Kate's non-father's (!) recruitment office.

(that sentence just gave you the spins, didn't it?)

Anyway, catch up on Lost (kinda) with the help of VH1's gap-toofeted (NOT saber-toofeted) Paul Scheer here.

It's not like you've got anything better to do... ABC won't be showing any new episodes until 2006, apparently.

Which sucks. Badly.

If you're anything like me, you keep up on the latest comings and goings in the world of Bar Mitzvahs.

Well, then, maybe you heard about the executive who threw his daughter a $10 million (that's right, I said $10 meeeeeee-llion) Bat Mitzvah last weekend?

You know-- the Bat Mitzvah that had Aerosmith, Tom Petty, Don Henley and Joe Walsh, Stevie Nicks, Kenny G., Ciara, 50 Cent and other celebs perform and/or show up?

The pictures have finally started to surface, and... oof. I mean, good for you if there's money sitting there on the table for you to grab, but... you're the one who has to suffer the blow to your credibility.

People in attendance (I really wish I were kidding, here) have said that Fitty apparently changed the lyrics of "In Da Club" to "Go shawty, it's yo Bat Mitzvah... we gon' party like it's yo Bat Mitzvah."

Again, I wish I were kidding.

How to cleanse the palate after that?

How's about some Yacht Rock? Be sure to scroll down and start from the very beginning of the saga.

Wow. Whoever thought of this... wow.

And finally, Deion Sanders has chimed in on the whole Terrell Owens non-story. As you might expect, he's squarely on the side of the Eagles' organization (kidding):

Former NFL star Deion Sanders is the latest person to weigh in on the Terrell Owens circus.

"I feel bad for T.O. It's not right," said Sanders. "Just because a guy won't say he's sorry, he's out of the game of football for the season."

Sanders said Owens' criticism of Donovan McNabb, and his failure to offer an apology were not the biggest reasons for the receivers' problems with the Eagles - it was asking for a new contract.

"T.O. wasn't a problem until he asked for his money," Sanders said.
